The boulevard trees along Victoria Street appear to light up with the golden glow of the setting sun painting their branches just hours before the outdoor Christmas tree lights fill the downtown streets with colour.

INXS IN KAMLOOPS
Shot only the first three songs as per usual. Apparently he pissed off his backup singer to the point she exited after the first song. I'm told he stopped the show 4 or 5 songs into it and apologized to her. Finally she came out of the backstage and got on with the show. Big deal. Seems most people in Kamloops liked the show but complained about the sound. Apparently it's good in the front floor, but the rest seemed to be muddy and incoherent. Too bad.

These Girls Can Can-Can.
Kamloops-own Dreams of Vaudeville can-can dancers took Kamloops street-goers back to the 1890's as they took the stage by storm during the Downtown Merchant's Market on the past weekend. Harking back to the days when chorus lines of female dancers showed off fashions of long skirts, petticoats and black stockings these girls are making quite a name for themselves. Formerly known as the Desert Bloomers, this act has certainly come of age with a wickedly playful act that sends a smile on the face of young and old alike. With sounds of screaming, yelling, cat-calling and trilling while they dance Pandora, left, Lolita, Honey, Juliette and a rather bashful Vixen strike a pose to wrap-up their uproarious routine.
